PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device and a mounting device for it, reliably mounted to a part to be mounted by simple operation. SOLUTION: In this portable electronic device 10, an electronic device body 2 is mounted to the part to be mounted through the mounting device 11. The mounting device 11 includes: a temporary fixing belt 4 having a linear state and a winding state for generating energizing force to involve to the full length, which is wound round the mounted part in the winding state to temporarily fix the portable electronic device 10 to the concerned mounted part; an auxiliary belt 12 engaged with the temporary fixing belt 4 wound round the mounted part and temporarily fixed to wind round the mounted part and the temporary fixing belt 4, thereby finally fixing the portable electronic device 10 to the concerned mounted part; and an adjusting means 18 for adjusting the applying force of the mounting device to the mounted part by varying the total length of the auxiliary belt 12.
