A lock assembly including a casing, a bolt member having a bolt portion and a lath portion, a connecting member movably coupled to the lath portion of the bolt member, and an actuating member which is engageable with the connecting member and is effective to move the bolt member along a path between a first unlocked position in which the bolt portion of the bolt member is substantially contained within the casing and a second locking position in which the bolt portion of the bolt member extends from the casing, and wherein movement of the actuating member effects movement of the connecting member and movement of the bolt member relative to the connecting member. |
