The invention relates to an electrostatic filter arrangement comprising a switched power supply which is used to produce high voltage leading to corona discharge. In said switched power supply, a cascade of electronic switches is used. A circuit arrangement is associated with each electronic switch, ensuring that the switch achieves a conducting state when the voltage on the main line thereof exceeds a predetermined value. The invention also relates to a circuit arrangement which informs a central control and monitoring circuit whether the monitored switch element is in a blocked or conducting state.
