<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoirradiation head which can be miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The photoirradiation head 2 is devised so that spreading efficiency of heat generating from an LED 10 is increased through cooperation with a heat radiator 14 and a case 9. That is, the heat radiator 14 is inserted into the case 9, and the front face of the heat radiator 14 is brought into contact with the rear face of the case 9, so that the face of the case 9 protecting the LED 10 can effectively be used as a heat radiating face. Thus, the area for heat radiation can be promoted for enlargement. As a result, outlines of the heat radiator 14 and the case 9 can be reduced in size, which can miniaturize the photoirradiation head 2. Furthermore, the front end face of the heat radiator 14 is brought into contact with the rear face of the LED 10, and a pair of conductive parts 23 connected, corresponding to each of terminals 10a, 10b of the LED 10 are pinched and fixed to the heat radiator 14.
