<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a photosensitive planographic printing plate material having favorable printing durability and scratch resistance and excellent stain-free property, and to provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a photosensitive planographic printing plate material includes steps of coating a support with an image forming layer as a first layer essentially comprising a resin soluble in an alkaline water and containing a photopolymerization initiator by using organic solvent and then successively forming a layer containing a polymer compound as a second layer, wherein the plate material is dried in a drying system using both of hot air drying and far IR rays drying in an initial stage of drying after applying the first layer, and the drying step is carried out in such a manner it takes 2 seconds or longer and shorter than 5 seconds until the amount of the residual solvent reaches 100 mg/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
