<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maximum number of loading sheets without enlarging the device and while avoiding cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: A recording material loading device is equipped with a plurality of discharge ports and a plurality of loading trays. A normal mode and a loading amount UP mode having different maximum load are settable in the recording material loading device. There are a plurality of lower limit positions of the upper side loading tray, and the lower limit position positioning at the upper side is used in the normal mode. On the other side, the lower limit position positioning at the lower side is used in the loading amount UP mode. The lower limit position of the lower side loading tray in the loading amount UP mode exists at the position clogging the lower discharge port of the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
