PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mah-jongg ball game machine structured to allow a player to smoothly forward a game regardless of the player's knowledge on the mah-jongg ball game or the mah-jongg ball game machine by giving the player detailed support on the display for completing a winning hand in the mah-jongg ball game machine. SOLUTION: The mah-jongg ball game machine comprises a next-to-win pattern determining program for determining whether the combination of hand tile symbols is in the next-to-win state or not, a main board operation control program for detecting the symbol of a discarded tile (a temporarily discarded tile) when it is determined that the combination of symbols is in the next-to-win state, a waiting tile symbol selecting program for selecting the symbol of a waiting tile from the combination of hand tile symbols excluding the symbol of the temporarily discarded tile, and a navigation display part 31 for displaying the symbol of the waiting tile.
