Composition (I) for the prevention and/or treatment of vascular occlusive diseases, obtained by mixing ethanol, water, a non-toxic acid and/or a sugar, is new. ACTIVITY : Antiarteriosclerotic; Cardiant; Vasotropic; Cerebroprotective; Auditory. The ability of (I) to treat tinnitus was tested in humans. The result showed that (I) (20 ml) significantly prevented the reoccurrence of tinnitus. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
