METHOD FOR PROCESSING CALLS FROM MULTIPLE COMMUNICATION NETWORKS AND EQUIPMENT THEREOF

A method for processing calls from plural communication networks and a device used therefor are provided to improve the performance of a dual mode mobile terminal by minimizing interference made between two communication modules. A dual mode mobile terminal detects whether a dial request is received(U01). When a dial request is received, the dual mode mobile terminal determines a communication network corresponding to the dial request(U02). The dual mode mobile terminal checks whether a data service is proceeding in a different communication network(U03). When a data service is proceeding in a different communication network, the dual mode mobile terminal cancels the current dial request(U05). If a data service is not proceeding in a different communication network, the dual mode mobile terminal processes the dial request(U04).
