<p>The object of this invention is to develop a display system that is affordable for widespread use by utilising standard, off the shelf components, yet at the same time be capable of displaying still and moving images with high resolution and brightness, comprising a plurality of image servers, each image server being associated with a display unit, a program for generating sub-images from source image and applying appropriate correction to the sub-images before being sent to the display units. Additionally a distributed GUI based operating system can be operated across multiple displays.</p> |
