A photo sharing method of a mobile communication terminal using an SMS(Short Message Service) and a device thereof are provided to be capable of offering a function of sharing stored photos through data communication between terminals of users who want to share the photos, thus a problem of a server space for uploading the photos is solved. The second user receives a predetermined short message, and decides whether the message refers to a photo sharing request service(S201). If so, the second user confirms a sharing list registration state of a sender(first user)(S203). If the sender is a registered one, the second user transmits a requested photo. The first user receives the requested photo, and outputs the received photo on a screen display(S204).
