<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pitched sound amplification digital signal processor for outputting heavy low-pitched sound having almost no distortion. <P>SOLUTION: The low-pitched amplification digital signal processor 10 is provided with a power calculation means K1 which calculates each of mean-square power level values Pn(L), Pn(R) of sound signals Dn(L), Dn(R), in each section demarcated for each prescribed sampling number of digital sound signals L, R; and a low-pitched sound range variable amplification processing means K2 which amplifies a digital sound signal in a low-pitched sound range in the section with a fixed amplification amount Δc equivalent to a difference between a prescribed threshold LevelX and an allowable level maximum value LevelMax, when values are less than the prescribed threshold LevelX after comparing the mean-square power level values Pn(L), Pn(R) with the prescribed threshold LevelX respectively, and also, amplifies the digital sound signals in the low-pitched sound range of each channel Lch, Rch in the section with an amplification amount ΔPn(L), ΔPn(R) equivalent to a difference between the mean-square power level values Pn(L), Pn(R) and the allowable level maximum value LevelMax when the values exceed the prescribed threshold LevelX. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
