摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain with high accuracy gas quantity, supplied to each of a plurality of unit cells that are provided in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell 12 which is provided with a plurality of unit cells and generates power by receiving supply of a prescribed gas, a cell voltage acquisition means for obtaining cell voltage of each unit cell; an average cell voltage calculation means which averages the cell voltage of each unit cell and calculates the average cell voltage; a stoichiometric ratio variable means which changes the stoichiometric ratio of the prescribed gas supplied to the fuel cell 12 from a reference value, an approximation acquisition means which obtains an approximation expression for expressing the relations between the stoichiometric ratio and the change rate of the average cell voltage, when the stoichiometric ratio is changed from the reference value; a cell voltage change rate calculation means which calculates the change rate of the cell voltage of each unit cell, when the stoichiometric ratio is changed to a prescribed value from the reference value; and a stoichiometric ratio calculation means which calculates the stoichiometric ratio of the prescribed gas by unit cells, from the change rate of the cell voltage by using the approximation expression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
