<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order input device enabling an operator to input an order even when the operator does not remember the arrangement of menus allocated to a menu keyboard of the order input device to be used for a restaurant or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of inputting customer's order data from the order input device 101, an unskilled operator depresses a handwriting start key 203, notes a customer's order by pen input and depresses a data storage key 204 to store the order in an inner RAM. When a data display key 205 is depressed in an office or the like after separating from the customer, the stored handwritten note is displayed.
