PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coreless seal for assembling a shell type roller bearing having high sealability. SOLUTION: This coreless seal 11 for assembling the shell type roller bearing installed in the shell type roller bearing comprises only an elastic annular member 12. The outer diameter surface 13 of the coreless seal 11 for assembling the shell type roller bearing comprises a small diameter part 16 having a smaller diameter and a large diameter portion 15 swelled more than the small diameter portion 16 in the radial direction to have a larger diameter.
