PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a structure without applying a contraction force caused by the curing of an adhesive to a mirror face, when a magnet is stuck to a mirror member in a rotating body used for a polygon scanner. SOLUTION: A uniform recession is provided in circumferential direction at a position facing a mirror face 2b on an inner peripheral face, and a gap 13 is formed between the inner peripheral face and a magnet 3, when the magnet 3 is placed in a predetermined position. The adhesive 14 is applied on the upper end and the lower end of the magnet 3, and is prevented from being applied on the gap 13. When the mirror face has two stages, the upper end of the magnet is so set that the upper end of the magnet is located at substantially the intermediate position in the direction of the height of the two-stage mirror.
