PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of suppressing a decrease in image quality irrelevantly to device constitution, paper quality, etc. SOLUTION: An image fixation unit 14 (fixing device) has a fixing roller 30 which fixes a toner image transferred to a form P on the form P and conveys the form P along a specified conveyance path and a separating mechanism 50 which separates the form P from the fixing roller 30. The separating mechanism 509 includes a separation claw 70 which comes into contact with a peripheral surface of the fixing roller 30 to separate the form P from the fixing roller 30, a holder member 60 which holds the separation claw 70, and a pair of roll members 80 which are rotatably held by the holder member 60 and guides the form P separated from the fixing roller 30 downstream along the conveyance path while rotating, and the holder member 60 has guide parts 61f and 62f which guide the form P to the roll member 80 in the conveyance path between the separation claw 70 and roll member 80.
