PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is free of the image deterioration due to electrostatic charge unevenness and a ghost, has excellent stability even in continuous use, and can provide always a high definition image without image deterioration, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a photosensitive layer consisting of an intermediate layer, a charge generating layer, and a charge transfer layer on a conductive support, in which the charge transfer layer contains the hole transfer material of 1,500 to 4,000 in the molecular weight expressed by formula (1) and the intermediate layer contains an electron carrier agent.
