PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging probe which supplies power to a medical capsule with low power consumption. SOLUTION: The charging probe 300 comprises a flexible sheath 302 and a primary coil 304 arranged on the distal end of the sheath 302 such that the primary coil is projected and retracted freely. A secondary battery 236 of a capsule endoscope 220 is charged by bringing the primary coil 304 close to the capsule endoscope 220 and by applying high-frequency voltage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
