PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that protrusion of an adhesive caused by connecting a nozzle plate and a flow path unit, preventing the adhesive from flowing into nozzle holes or the like, keeping a strong connecting strength, and corresponding to a long-sized head, are not satisfied. SOLUTION: The nozzle plate 1 has only the nozzle holes 11, and in addition, empty hole parts 13 are formed on the connecting face of a flow path forming member 2 with the nozzle plate 1, and the sum of opening areas of all the empty hole parts 13 is within 30-70% of the surface area of the nozzle plate 1 side of the flow path forming member 2. It is possible thereby to ensure an enough connecting strength between the nozzle plate 1 and the flow path forming member 2 while the protrusion of the adhesive is suppressed.
