The invention concerns a seat (1) comprising a back (2) provided in its upper part with a headrest (5) adjustable in height including two side walls (6, 7), designed to support the child's head, mounted mobile and guided horizontally on a support plate (9) vertically mobile along the back (2). Each of the side walls (6, 7) comprises a maneuvering finger (13, 14) which, when the support plate (9) moves vertically relative to the back (2), slides simultaneously in a horizontally elongated corresponding guiding slot (11, 12), formed in the support plate (9) and in an elongated corresponding guiding groove (18, 10) formed in the back (2), substantially inclined relative to the general axis (A) of the back (2) so as to move away towards the top of the back (2), such that the vertical movement of the support plate (9) relative to the back (2) causes the spacing of the side walls (6, 7) of the headrest (5) to be modified. |
