<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle behavior control device which enhances the follow-up performance for a target locus, while preventing the lowering in the front wheel lateral force and stabilizing the behavior of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A control device part 9 is provided with a target increase rear wheel lateral force computation part 9b which computes the target increase rear wheel lateral force which is an increment of the rear wheel lateral force necessary for achieving the target yaw rate; a target yaw moment computation part 9c, which computes a target yaw moment which is a yaw moment necessary for achieving the target increase rear wheel lateral force, while keeping the front wheel sideslip angle β<SB>f</SB>at a prescribed angle; a target increase rear wheel sideslip angle computation part 9e, which computes a target increase rear wheel sideslip angle which is an increment of the rear wheel sideslip angle β<SB>r</SB>necessary for achieving the target increase rear wheel lateral force; a target each wheel braking and driving force computation part 9d which computes the target each wheel braking and driving force from the target yaw moment; and a rear wheel steering angle computation part 9f, which computes the target rear wheel steering angle δ<SB>r</SB>from the target increase rear wheel sideslip angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
