PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing technique capable of effectively providing advertisement information to a user in an automated teller machine.

SOLUTION: The automated teller machine 20 performing a series of transaction processing related to cash comprises a storage part 220 storing advertisement data 810 to be reproduced to provide advertisement to a user of the machine 20 and having a set reproduction length 8104 that is the period from reproduction start to reproduction end; an advertisement reproduction part 212 reproducing the stored advertisement data 810 when specific processing in the series of transaction processing is performed; and a progress adjustment part 214 adjusting the progress of the specific processing in accordance with the reproduction length 8104 set in the advertisement data 810.
