<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor speed control circuit in which precision in speed control of a motor is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The motor speed control circuit for controlling the rotational speed of a motor by controlling the quantity of current flowing through the drive coil of the motor comprises a circuit receiving a signal for commanding the rotational speed of the motor and generating a reference voltage according to the speed command signal, a clamp circuit for limiting the level of the reference voltage generated from the reference voltage circuit, a circuit for receiving and comparing a speed voltage according to the actual rotational speed of the motor with the reference voltage having a level limited in the clamp circuit, and a circuit generating a signal for controlling the quantity of current flowing through the drive coil based on comparison results from the comparing circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
