METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CERAMIC-BASED COMPOSITE BODY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE PRECURSOR PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of simply manufacturing a ceramic-based composite body containing a second phase particle without using a pulverization step or a gas phase reaction.

SOLUTION: A high molecular precursor material containing a part or the whole of the structural elements of a ceramic material and to become a ceramic by firing to convert organic to inorganic is provided, and a method of manufacturing composite precursor particle-containing slurry by mixing the high molecular precursor material with a solvent which dissolve the high molecular precursor material and the second phase particle and further mixing the mixed solution with a solvent which does not dissolve the high molecular precursor material to deposit the dissolved composite precursor particle using the second phase particle as a nucleus in the mixed solvent solution are provided.
