<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap capable of opening a hinge lid at an angle close to 180° when dispensing the content even if ensuring a large installation face for allowing a dispensing container to be installed in a stable inverted condition by forming the hinge lid having a large outside diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge cap 10 consists of a cap body 14 which has a dispensing port 16 in a top face part 15 and is screw-engaged with a neck part 11a of a dispensing container 12, and a hinge lid 13 which is connected to the peripheral part of the end of the cap body 14 via a hinge part 18, and arranged on the top face part 15 of the cap body 14 in a concentrically overlapping manner when the dispensing port 16 is closed, and forms an inverted installation face 17 of the dispensing container 12. The ratio of the outside diameter D1 of a cylindrical part 19 of the cap body 14 to the outside diameter D2 of the inverted installation face 17 is 1.5 to 2.0.
