<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet treatment device, an image formation device, and a control method and a program thereof capable of preventing overflow of cut staple feet from a storage box, and enhancing the convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet post-treatment device 10 comprises a treatment tray 25, an alignment unit 32, a stapler 50, a moving-storage unit 51, an opening/closing lid 52 and a staple scrap box 60. The stapler 50 staples a sheet bundle by a staple, and cuts an excess portion of the staple. The moving-storage unit 51 stores staple feet cut by the stapler 50. The staple scrap box 60 stores staple feet dropped from the moving-storage unit 51. A control unit 201 determines the amount of the staple feet stored in the moving-storage unit 51, and when the moving-storage unit 51 is filled with the stored staple feet, the staple feet in the moving-storage unit 51 are controlled to shift to the staple scrap box 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
