<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which realizes a high-productivity system, increases expandability, and realizes a new functional system. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus comprising a scanner unit, a scanner image processing unit, a printer control unit, a plotter unit, and a plotter image processing unit, the scanner unit 1 is connected to the scanner image processing unit 2 via a dedicated bus; the plotter image processing unit 4 is connected to the plotter unit 5 via the dedicated bus; and the scanner image processing unit 2, the printer control unit 3; and the plotter image processing unit 4 are connected to a packet switch network 8, having the function of routing packet data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
