<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stably reproducing an electrostatic latent image and a toner image on a photoreceptor and always forming a distinct image by forming dots on a real scanning line with the resolution of the real scanning line, and to provide an image adjusting method. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having a paper conveying part for conveying recording paper S, and an image forming means for forming the image on the recording paper S conveyed by the paper conveying part, the position of the image in the conveying direction of the recording paper S is adjusted by locally increasing/decreasing the number of image data lines in the conveying direction of the recording paper S on the image formed by the image forming means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
