<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions and methods for delivery of a bioactive agent to an individual. <P>SOLUTION: The bioactive agent delivery particles comprises lipid binding polypeptides, a lipid double layer and a bioactive agent, wherein the inside of the lipid double layer contains a hydrophobic region, the bioactive agent associates with the hydrophobic region of the lipid double layer, the particles contain no hydrophilic core, are disc shaped, have about 7 nm to about 29 nm diameter and contain at least one hydrophobic region, and the hydrophobic region associates with the hydrophobic surface in the inside of the lipid double layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
