摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis adjusting method of a height detection sensor of an electronic component by which an optical axis of the height detection sensor of the electronic component can appropriately be adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of adjusting a relative position of a floodlight 21 and a photodetector 22 in a state that the light reception sensitivity of the photodetector 22 is improved and adjusting the optical axis; a filter 29 is disposed between a flood light spot 21a and a light reception spot 22a, and a light reception amount of the photodetector 22 is reduced. Thus, the light reception amount in the complete light reception state of the photodetector 22 is set to become smaller than that in the saturation state of the photodetector 22.
