PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a highly precise control block when controlling driving support in a merging path or a leaving path to which a road with a difference in speed with a main track road is connected. SOLUTION: This vehicle controller for controlling driving support in a merging path or a leaving path to which a road with a speed difference with the main track road is connected is provided with a dashed line detecting means for detecting a dashed line plotted on a road separating the main track road from the merging path or the leaving path. The control block of the operation support control is determined based on the dashed line detection result of the dashed line detecting means. For example, when the dashed line separating the main track road from the leaving path is detected by the dashed line detecting means, and the stepping of an acceleration pedal is released, the operation support control is started.
