PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly prevent unnecessary continuation of drive support control. SOLUTION: This drive support device for vehicle is provided with: a self-vehicle position detection means; a caution point detection means for detecting a caution point in front of the traveling direction; a traveling state detection means for detecting a traveling state of the vehicle; a distance calculation means for calculating distance between the detected self-vehicle position and a position of the caution point; a drive support means for performing the drive support control based on the detected traveling state and the calculated distance; and a deviation prediction means for predicting deviation from a traveling path to the caution point based on the detected traveling state, wherein the drive support control is discontinued by the drive support means when the deviation is predicted by the deviation prediction means.
