PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential gear and a power transfer facilitating changeover between a conventional differential gear and a LSD. SOLUTION: The differential gear comprises a differential case 27 rotatably supported and rotated by driving input, a pair of side gears 29, 31 supported on the differential case 27 to be relatively rotatable and respectively connected with a pair of connecting shafts 55, 57, a long pinion gear 43a and a short pinion gear 45 supported on the differential case 27, engaged with the respective side gears 29, 31, transmitting rotation of the differential case 27 to the respective side gears 29, 31 and permitting relation rotation of the respective side gears 29, 31, and is characterized in that the differential case 27 is provided with shaft receiving holes 37, 39 capable of selectively and rotatably supporting the long pinion gear 43 to adjust a torque bias ratio between the side gears 29, 31.
