PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing route creation method doing away with wastefulness of a processing time to efficiently process a processed object. SOLUTION: This processing route creation method has: a process (step S1) for selecting an optional configuration point from shape data of a die for a press as a main configuration point; a process (steps S2, S3) for calculating an angle made by another configuration point; a process (steps S4, S5) for deciding whether the calculated angle is not more than a prescribed angle or not, and storing the main configuration point as a projecting angle point; a process (steps S6-8) for connecting the projecting angle points to create a connection line; a process (step S10) for setting an area wherein the connection line is enlarged to a direction perpendicular to a face of the shape data 100 by a radius of a tool as a processing non-necessity area S, and creating a first processing route including the processing non-necessity area and a second processing route except the processing non-necessity area; and a process (steps S11-13) for comparing times required for passage, and setting the route having the shorter required time as a processing route.
