PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration detecting method of lubricating oil and a lubricating device capable of preventing occurrence of a failure of an internal combustion engine resulting from deterioration of the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: A member 41 for measurement is arranged inside the internal combustion engine at a position where the lubricating oil dips or deposits. With deterioration of the lubricating oil, the surface 41a of the member 41 for measurement and the lubricating oil start to react with each other, and a corrosion section 71 is formed in the surface 41a.
