PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control thermal stresses caused by a difference in thermal elongation between a combustor tail cylinder and a casing in a regenerative single-can gas turbine, while securing sufficient air for use in regeneration, thereby avoiding thermal efficiency from decreasing. SOLUTION: The regenerative single-can gas turbine includes a compressor 1 for compressing air; a single combustor 2 for burning the compressed air coming from the compressor 1; a turbine 3 for obtaining axial power using combustion gas from the combustor 2; and a regenerative heat exchanger 4 for causing heat exchange between the compressed air from the compressor 1 and exhaust gas from the turbine 3. The combustor tail cylinder 12 for guiding the combustion gas from the combustor 2 to the turbine 3 is formed integrally. At least either a flange portion 21 on the outer periphery of the exit of the combustor tail cylinder 12 or a flange portion 28 on the inner periphery thereof is connected to the turbine 3 or to the casing of the compressor 1. The connection between the combustor tail cylinder 12 and the casing has an aligning mechanism for maintaining the concentricity of the exit of the combustor tail cylinder with respect to a turbine first stator blade 20.
