A rotary mower with the upper arrangement of a driving gear of cylindrical and conical drums with a vertical rotational axis and with knives fixed hingedly is proposed. Inside the drums a finger mechanism, the fingers of which are arranged in two tiers and hingedly fixed on immovable cranked axles arranged eccentrically to rotational axes of the drums, and also freely passed through sliders hingedly fixed on the walls of the drums, is mounted. The areas of the most moving-out of the fingers are adjustable.
