A method of cold or warm Pilger rolling of tubes with internal longitudinal ribs includes deformation of stock tube in the rolls with grooves of variable profile, which have sections of reduction and calibration, on the conical internal tool, the form of cross section of which corresponds to the form of cross section of internal surface of ribbed tube. Each generatrix of the surface of the internal tool is distanced from the axis of rolling at the beginning of reduction section - for the value of radius of internal diameter of the stock minus 0.1-0.25 mm, and at its end - for the value of distance from the axis of rolling to the corresponding point on the contour of internal surface of rolled pipe in the cross section. Moreover, each generatrix of the surface of the internal tool takes the form of a curve, described by parabolic type function similar to the function, which describes the involute of the crest of groove.
