<p>A plasma display panel is provided to suppress a yellowing effect or corrosion of an Ag electrode by adding carbon to a plasma display panel material or forming a carbon layer. A first substrate and a second substrate(1,11) are disposed in parallel to each other at an arbitrary interval. A plurality of address electrodes(3) are formed on the first substrate. A first dielectric layer(5) is formed on the first substrate in order to cover the address electrodes. A plurality of barrier ribs(7) are disposed in a space between the first and second substrates in order to form discharge spaces. A phosphor layer(9) is formed within the discharge space. A plurality of display electrodes(13) are formed across the address electrodes on the second substrate. A second dielectric layer(15) is formed on the second substrate in order to cover the display electrodes. A protective layer(17) is formed to cover the second dielectric layer. One or more electrodes selected from the electrodes of the first and second substrates include carbon.</p> |
