<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To digitally correct the image distortion and then encode to improve the image quality. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor circuit has a means for digitally processing brightness signals of an input image, a means for digitally processing color signals of the input image, a means 130 for correcting the distortion of the image as being fed with the brightness signals and color signals processed by the brightness signal processing means and the color signal processing means, and an encoder 143 for generating analog composite picture signals from brightness signals and color signals outputted from the distortion correcting means.
