<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience when image confirmation, image feed or image selection is performed on index display, for example, by displaying images only in the identical image group. <P>SOLUTION: Depending on the state of a shutter switch at the time of photography, group image information indicative of images photographed during a series of photography operations is stored in a storage means.
