MULTIMODAL FRAGMENTATION AND POSITIONING OF IMAGE USING PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of positionally specifying the feature of heart scar tissue showing lower voltage typically than that of healthy tissue in an electroanatomic map, and making an outline correctly on a three-dimensional image and a map.

SOLUTION: A system and a method including fragmentation of a three-dimensional image and positioning of the image and the electroanatomic map by using not only the position information but physiological or functional information in the map and the image are provided for positioning the map with the image. The common use of this invention comprises positioning the electroanatomic map of a heart and a previously obtained or real-time three-dimensional image.
