PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structure capable of achieving extension of the service life of a battery and of improving vibration resistance, and to provide its manufacturing method, a secondary battery, a battery pack, a composite battery pack and a vehicle with these batteries mounted thereon.

SOLUTION: This electrode structure which has grooves 230 deeper than half the average thickness of an electrode on an electrode surface and in which an electrode active material is stacked on a collector 210 is so composed that at least the electrode surface side is formed into two or more divided areas.
