<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a solid polymer fuel cell provided concurrently with high strength, high corrosion resistant property, super plastic properties and low cost, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for a solid polymer fuel cell is made of metallic glass material with a thickness of 0.02 to 0.5 mm, expressed by compositional Formula; (Ni<SB>1-x</SB>Zr<SB>x</SB>)<SB>a</SB>Nb<SB>b</SB>Ti<SB>c</SB>(60 atom%≤a≤70 atom%, 5 atom%≤b≤20 atom%, 15 atom%≤c≤30 atom%, 0≤x≤0.17), and a film of oxide and/or nitride of the element contained in the metallic glass is formed on the metallic glass material. A part of the metallic glass material is formed into an irregular shape by press molding at supercooled liquid region so that the part of the metallic glass material becomes a gas flow passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
