<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password input device, method and system preventing a third person from specifying a concrete password even if being stealthily glanced when a player inputs a password and to provide an inter-machine equipment, a data release machine, a counter, a prize payout machine and a settlement machine having the said password input device. <P>SOLUTION: This password input device is provided with a password input section 40 having at least an input part previously corresponding to a plurality of pieces of password information out of input parts, receives storage medium which stores information capable of specifying preset password information, reads the information capable of specifying the password information from the storage medium, specifies the password information based on the information capable of specifying the read password information, and determines whether either one of the password information in prescribed times input from the input part in time series accords with the password information corresponding to the specified prescribed time.
