<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a resistor for consuming a regenerative power, and reduce the installation space. <P>SOLUTION: In the elevator control device, a regenerative control circuit 4 applies the voltage between a base and an emitter of a semiconductor switching element 5 when the voltage value between current output lines exceeds the reference value predetermined by the effect of the regenerative power. Then, the semiconductor switching element 5 becomes an ON state and the regenerative power is consumed by the resistor 8. When the semiconductor switching element 5 becomes the ON state, a cooling fun drive circuit 9 obtains the source power according to the generation of the voltage between a collector and the emitter of the semiconductor, and supplies it to a cooling fan motor 10. The fun 11 is driven to rotate thereby. Therefore, it is not necessary to newly provide the power circuit for driving to rotate the fan 11.
