<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school bag which reduces the waste of fabric in manufacture and makes it possible to take sufficient crime prevention measures. <P>SOLUTION: The school bag comprises: a main body part 7 opened at the upper part, which is constituted of a body part formed of a bottom plate 2 and a pair of big gussets 3 connected upwards at both end parts of the bottom plate 2, a back plate 5 attached on the back surface side of the body part and a big partition plate 6 attached on the front surface side of the body part 4; a lid attached to the main body part 7 so as to open and close the opening; and a pair of shoulder belts attached on the back surface side in the main body part 7. The body part or the lid is provided with an inner side sheet 401, a cushion material 402 stuck to an outer side face on the inner side sheet 401 and a front side sheet 405 stuck to the outer side face of the cushion material 402.
