<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club by which a golfer can increase a carry corresponding to head speeds or the like in a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: A reference state in which a shaft axis is arranged in a reference surface being mounted on a level surface P at a specified lie angle and a specified face angle, and at the same time, being vertical to the level surface P is taken under consideration. The head gravity center G is located at a position on the head rear side of the reference surface, and at the same time, the gravity center depth D which is a distance between the reference surface and the head gravity center G is from 20 to 30 mm. The bending rigidity value EIt (kgf mm<SP>2</SP>) of the shaft at a position T3 being away 140 mm from the head side end is set to be from 0.5×10<SP>6</SP>to 1.75×10<SP>6</SP>for this golf club. More preferably, (GIt/EIt) of the torsional rigidity value GIt and the bending rigidity value EIt of the shaft at the position being away 140 mm from the head side end is set to be from 0.8×10<SP>-2</SP>to 1.2×10<SP>-2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
