<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-sensitivity organic sensitizing dye for solar power generation that has wide absorption from an ultraviolet light region to a near-infrared region and is electrically separated efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The organic sensitizing dye for solar power generation is obtained by introducing a fullerene being an excellent electron acceptor to a tertiary aromatic amine compound or an asymmetric squarylium compound.
